When planning the trip, a lot of time was put is searching for the best gear. What do I need, wich brand is good.
I will post in this section the gear I will use during my trip.
The bike
The most important part of the trip. The bike.
I had set my spending amount at around 1500 euro (or a little bit more but at least not above 2000).
A lot of bikes past my eye. The most famous touring bike, the surly long haul trucker, or the kona sutra or even the koga worldtraveller. But in the end it was the VSF TX400 from Fahrradmanufaktur. A german bike, the price was perfect and the set up was complete (not like the Surly). And it is a beauty!
